Writing
This writing hub separates personal, biblical studies, and creative writing into distinct pages while keeping search unified across the whole website.
Creative Writing
I write speculative fiction at the intersection of fantasy, science fiction, and the uncanny, with a deep interest in meaning, identity, and transformation. This page is the central home for my creative writing identity and the stories growing out of it.
Biblical Studies
I am a biblical studies major and I write about the Bible by dragging it out of modern Churchianity and back into its ancient world, reading it within its Ancient Near East (ANE) and Second Temple Jewish contexts, and asking the kinds of questions that polished religion usually tries to avoid. I’m especially interested in the Bible’s worldview, its systems of meaning, and the way it shapes identity, perception, and power. I have little interest in church tradition, church fathers, or what your pastor thinks the Bible says. The biblical authors had their own worldview, their own questions, and their own answers, and I want to understand those on their own terms. This page is for biblical studies rooted in context, worldview, close reading, and the kind of questions polished religion usually tries to avoid.
Data Nerd
By day, I wrangle data for a living. This page is where I write about SQL, dashboards, automation, reporting, and the deeply satisfying work of forcing chaotic information to sit down, behave, and tell the truth.
Personal
This page is for the randomness in my head that refuses to fit neatly into the other categories: reflections, rabbit trails, rants, weird connections, and the occasional thought that showed up uninvited but made a compelling case for itself.
